Our Manicuring/Nail Tech program trains students in theory and practical experiences to prepare them for immediate employment opportunities. You will learn to do regular, spa, and French manicures and pedicures. Classes include theory and practical techniques for applying acrylic and gel nails and instructions for using an electric file. Our courses are mainly directed toward developing students’ desirable habits and attitudes concerning health, sanitation, safety, and guest satisfaction. Salon business classes are presented to gain knowledge of precision techniques and technical skills to perform a mastering level of competency here at The Cosmetology Institute.

Our Blow Dry Tech can provide a great opportunity for our future blow-dry stylists to learn niche and specialty hair styling. The curriculum shall include, but not be limited to, sanitation/disinfection procedures, scientific methods of hair and scalp care, along with proper draping, arranging, curling, dressing, and other similar functions with the use of a blow dryer, as well as hair and scalp treatments, with, Louisiana Cosmetology Act, rules and regulations.

The curriculum shall include, but not be limited to, sanitation/disinfection procedures, scientific methods of hair and scalp care, along with proper draping, arranging, curling, dressing, and other similar functions with the use of a blow dryer, as well as hair and scalp treatments, with, Louisiana Cosmetology Act, rules and regulations.

The curriculum for shampoo technicians shall include, but not be limited to, sanitation/disinfection procedures, scientific methods of hair and scalp care, along with proper draping, shampooing techniques, chemical application and rising, as well as hair and scalp treatments, with Louisiana Cosmetology Act, rules and regulations.

✔ All tuition balances are assessed a 7.5% finance charge through our in house financing department.

✔ Every new student is required to attend orientation.

✔ Orientation is MANDATORY!!! If missed, you will not be able to start school until the next class start.

✔ Uniforms are required!!! (we wear  black scrub tops and bottoms with solid black shoes)
